Get to know Amber

When I started my career in 2006, I educated myself about green building techniques by starting GreenPDX, a green building tour group. I did this out of personal interest, and as a way to effectively serve as translator between builder/architect and clients. It didn’t take long for green building to go from trending to more standard practice. Eventually, I moved on, but kept the name as a reminder of my values. Since then, I have become a top producer working at Think Real Estate, #1 in our industry per broker in sales volume.

I know how to communicate clearly and effectively. This is first important for our relationship and trust, but also for connecting effectively with the other side of any transaction. I pride myself on my diplomatic strategy when I begin any negotiation, but also know how to sink my teeth in to defend and advocate for your best interest.

I work with a limited number of clients at one time. This allows me to provide top quality service with focused attention to my client’s needs. Additionally, I make it a point to donate a minimum of 2% of my annual income to organizations, especially local ones, that work towards equity, justice, and access to resources for underserved populations like minorities and the houseless.

My current home is a 1967 contemporary in the Cully Neighborhood. I have also owned a 1915 bungalow on nearly 1/2 an acre in SW Portland, an ultra-efficient townhome in the Alberta Arts, and rental properties both in Portland and the Oregon Coast. A few of my personal pursuits include pollinator gardening, cycling, bird watching, and road trips around Oregon. I am a second-generation Realtor and Portland native!
